twenty4carrots: My scar

  • Josh · 10 months ago
I fell and landed on my head in 2004. I broke my neck. A couple surgeries later I had 2 titanium plates, 8 screws, 2 rods, 2 crossbars, a bone graft and 42 staples that made me nauseous when when they were removed from my back and neck. I'm not complaining though... I can still walk.

i have incredibly poor balance. it snowed, i fell, somehow landed perfectly on a rock that was hidden under a layer of snow, ripped my jeans, broke the skin right under my knee. you can still see the scar. this was 2.5 years ago.

well, i went up a ladder to a tree house, when i was coming down, the i heard the ladder click and then i was in free fall. i laded on a bunch of sticks and my bun-taht got a big scratch. i had to pull my pants down and let all the aunts and uncles see it because they're all doctors. not sure if i still have the scar, can you check?

Snowboarding an extremely steep and icy section a Kirkwood I lost control and slid into a tree shattering my right femur. I now have a titanium rod from my hip to my knee, two titanium screws holding it in place, and a 10inch long scar that bisects most of my right butt cheek. But the pain I from my leg was nothing compared to the scar on my heart as I heard my loving brother say that seeing my foot resting on my shoulder was the coolest thing he had ever seen.
